    Travis and DJ

    Travis Dickerson Recording Studios

    DJ Bonebrake and Travis Dickerson have been working together for almost 30 years. DJ has played on Travis' records, including solo records and those with Buckethead, Viggo Mortensen, Alix Lambert and many others. The two have collaborated on projects, and Travis has recorded DJ with X as a band and on all the other members' solo projects; also records for Eliza Gilkyson, Lysa Flores, Syd Straw, Michael Blake and many more.

    Travis has been making records as a musician, producer and engineer for over 40 years, for the last 30 at his recording studio in Chatsworth, Calif. He has recorded hundreds of artists in addition to X, Buckethead and the other artists mentioned above, The Plimsouls, Linda Ronstadt,
    Jethro Tull, Vince DiCola, America, The Blasters, Top Jimmy, Steve Hunter, L7, Chris Perez, and many other very talented people.

    Drum recording has always been a passion and an obsession. TDRS has assembled a large collection of vintage recording drums, mics and pre-amps that, combined with the studio space, has drawn top drummers in for its classic drum sound. In addition to DJ those include, Vinnie Colaiuta, Greg Bissonette, Clem Burke, Doane Perry, Matt Abts, Tony Brock, Brian MacLeod, James Cruce, Don Heffington, Michael Botts, Brain and many, many others.
