Please just let me know when the new Thanatopsis 3 comes out. You guys kick butt! And I love this site, being able to directly download music and knowing it's going straight to the artists, not some middle man. Buckethead had "live" concert material on his own site that was taken down 10.31.05. I downloaded two different dates and I gotta say, keeping this from the public is a serious crime. Is there any way you could offer it on your site here? Or if it's an issue with his new label, can't you guys release them as "Live" cds? Just a thought.... I really admire your integrity and the intelligence you put into your music. May you always write and play what your heart tells you. I'll certainly be listening! |

I know it's a couple days late, but...HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILLY BOYD!!!!!!! I know, his birthday was Sunday, August 28, and he's now 37 years old.
I also wanted to mention that Viggo is supporting Cindy Sheehan in her fight to let President Bush know how she as well as many other mothers and families of killed soldiers in the US Army feel about this war. Even though I don't like the fact that we're at war, I do however admire the American troops for what they do, even if we're fighting a war that was started because of a lie. |

I would first of all like to thank TDRS Music. They have made it possible for me to buy and enjoy the music by Vince DiCola.
For several years, since the Transformers movie, I've been searching through all of the Netherlands for the CD's made by Vince DiCola. Sadly... no luck... untill through the links of many Transformer site I came to TDRS Music.
I would like to ask mister DiCola a Question if possible. I would like to know what sort of instruments and equipment he uses for his music. I myself would like to play like him and at the moment I own a Alesis QS 6.1 Synth, a Yamaha QY-70 Music Sequencer, a Yamaha DD-50 percussion system and a Roland EM-30 creative Keyboard.
I would like to wish Vince Dicola all the best in his future work and I hope that he will pay a visit to the Netherlands.

Oh Lord...I just listened to Half Fling for the first time. I must say it is pure genius. I'm listening to it for about the fiftieth time right now. Dom and Elijah are geniuses. Vince DiCola rocks :)
First time when i heard Vince DiCola's compositions was "War" from Rocky IV OST. after that i heard training montage and these two pieces are still one of the greatest songs i've ever heard. i wish there would be alternative versions of these 2 songs somewhere... because those 2 in that movie are little more better than original ones. :) (like the scene during training montage where rocky runs away from kgb-guys and climbs to the mountain.) so there's something extra to that song.. alternative ending etc. if someone knows where i can find these alternative versions i would appreciate it. |

Oh my gosh. I am really impressed and surprised with the amount of talent Viggo Mortensen and the others have, and their talent shows when I heard the Pandemoniumfromamerica CD for the first time. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I LOVE it. My favorites are Shadow, Gone, and of course Half Fling. God, Half Fling is HILARIOUS! :D Viggo Mortensen is obviously a very creative person, and I thinks it's just cool that he can show the world who he is by doing other things as well as acting. He is honestly one of my favorite actors now. Viggo, Dom, Billy and Elijah, you are AMAZING actors with huge amounts of talent. HALF FLING RULES, DOM AND ELIJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a really good site! I don't know very well TDRS music, but I recently listen to the CD Pandemoniumfromamerica by Viggo Mortensen and I like it!! Viggo has a nice and gentle voice. Well done Viggo!!

I played "Half Fling" backwards, and discovered it was really a massive love confession. I especially enjoyed that bit 38.5 seconds in. Brought tears to my eyes. I never thought anyone would ever be able to make an augmented fourth sound beautiful, but man, did you prove me wrong! And that raised thirteenth? Genius. Wow..like many other Viggo fans, I just purchased Pandemoniumfromamerica and the new Please Tomorrow CD's - very neat! I had no idea what to expect and am awed by Mr. Mortensen's talent. I also laughed my head off when I heard 'half fling'. It was cute to say the least. I was very sorry to have missed meeting Viggo when he was in Millbrooke a couple of weeks ago - I live 45 minutes away and my husband's co-worker's daughter got an autograph. Lucky girl!! I hope Viggo, if you ever read this, that you continue with your acting career. I know the fame is all too much, but we love your talents and film would not be the same without you. Um, hi, I would like to permanently display my opinion. So there's now the collaboration between Buckethead and Les, Brain and Bernie. Their first release was bland. I prefer the collaboration between Buckethead and Travis. The Thanatopsis albums are perfect to my tastebuds. In addition I would like to semi-personally thank Travis Dickerson for the music that I believe he's responsible for because it means a lot to me. I own a lot of music but not much that I have emotionally become attached to such as with Travis's recordings.

Hello again. Just wanted to mention to any certain actors out there that you have an amazing amount stalkers. I think that's a good thing, but you may want to keep restraining orders in mind if things get out of hand (I hear Elijah has already had to do this, but some sources can be wrong). What can i say that has not been said. I am a mature woman, I am happily married and very busy with 2 kids.... I have not been a "fanatic" for many years but I find myself obsessed with info about Viggo. I am a Tolkien fan and loved the LOTR movies as well as the performances by all the actors in the films. they were amazing... To tell the truth, i've found this site accidentally just because i was looking for something interesting about Viggo's work (Every piece of his work, no matter what it is - poetry, painting, music creations, photography... is worth to look for!). It's a pity, but here, in St.-Petersburg (cultural capital of Russia!) we have huge problems with finding his books and CD's! I just want to say, that here are thousands of people who are dreaming of seeing Viggo's work in Russia! Just to tell him, that he is a kind of inspiration for me... If i have low spirits, i just turn my computer on and look for photographies made by him or his poems and i feel myself much better. I do not know whether he'll read this or not, but i'll say it anyway: Thank you, Viggo! For everything that you did, are doing and going to do! Just keep going and don't leave this road you've chosen. I don't know if it's possible or not, but we hope to see you one day in our country, in our city just to say "Thank you very much!" in person. I,ve been listening to Buckethead for about four years now, and I can easily say he is my favorite guitar player. I recently bought the two Thanantopsis cd's and I have never been so inspired by such a musical endevor in my life. They are amazaing muscial masterpieces that will continue to fuel my musical drive. Well, I, at least, am not in love with VM or any of the other guys, Im quite happy with my life and the guy in the room next to me! But nonetheless I adore Mr. Mortensen as an artist (especially concerning poetry and photography), and since I listened to Pandaemoniumfromamerica recently I decided to come by and say Thank you for it! The first time I listened to it I was very sceptical, but somehow these unusual tunes crept into my mind and by now, shadow is one of my favourite songs. What a distinctive sound (without sounding predictable and lacking something more complimentary to say). Loved the piano in "Gone" and find it admirable that you (that is assuming there is indeed, only one person responsible for this excellent music) manage to successfully keep creating a sound that isn't spoiled by today's society and expectations. ˆ£Thanatopsisˆ§ remains to be among one of my favourite albums of all time.

Hi, I came here to find out more about Viggo&Co. and pandemoniumfromamerica, and I'm lucky that I came. "pandemonium", what a wird for a German, what does it mean? Can someone explain it?
I "falled in love" with Viggo and I really like his poems, pictures (I'm sure you know what I mean, how should I say that?) and photographics. His melody voice is also music in my ears, especially when he sing in the Return of the King. But in this movie, it is so great when Billy sing, too!
I hope, I will hear some from pandemonium, one day. It's a pity you can't buy the CD in Germany and I don't know if I will order it in the internet.
